Bands published, scope agreed before we start

Consulting fees are often deliberately opaque. Ours are not. Below are the bands we quote in most cases, what sits inside each one, and what triggers a change order. If your situation falls outside these bands we will tell you before any agreement is signed.

Consulting pricing is often kept deliberately vague so that scope can be stretched later. We do the opposite. The bands below cover the great majority of our work, and they include the deliverables and the governance cadence rather than treating them as extras. Where your situation falls outside a band we will tell you on the scoping call, before anything is signed.

How fees are structured

Programmes are billed as a fixed fee, split into monthly milestones tied to the phase exit tests. Engagements are billed monthly against a capacity agreement, which means you commit to a number of senior consulting days per month rather than an open-ended engagement. We do not bill hourly, and we do not bill for travel time. Reasonable pre-approved travel expenses, where on-site work is requested, are passed through at cost with receipts.

Where an engagement is cancelled mid-phase, you pay only for the days worked in that month plus any approved expenses already incurred. There is no cancellation penalty and no minimum term. We would rather end cleanly than continue on a disinterested mandate.

Request a scoping call

Tell us a little about the situation and a partner will respond within one business day. This form is a demonstration and does not transmit data to any server; in a live deployment it would reach our partner inbox directly.

By submitting you agree we may contact you about your inquiry. We do not sell or share inquiry data. See our privacy policy.

What triggers a change order

A change order is needed only where the agreed scope genuinely changes: adding a business unit, extending a phase, or bringing forward work that was scheduled later. We do not issue change orders for clarifying an ambiguity in our own proposal, and we do not bill for time spent answering a sponsor's questions. Any change order is written, priced and approved by the sponsor before the work begins, so there is never a surprise on an invoice.

Where a client's own delay pushes work into a later month, we will not charge for the idle period, but we may need to re-plan the sequence with the client. Where a client cancels a phase that has already started, the amount due at the next milestone is reduced to reflect the days actually worked, and any deliverables completed to that point are handed over in full.
